This page is intended to collect who in the DP:Evangelism Action Group is doing what to advance the cause. The goal is for everyone to know who the "go to" is for any particular project. In this way we should be able to effectively funnel activities, ensuring breadth and depth without nonconstructive overlap. After a healthy debate in the group, and it sounds like there's a swell of support, please keep this page updated.

NOTE: The "Lead" is simply the person who (a) initially proposed the idea, (b) is actively running with the ball, or (c) is otherwise a placeholder until an obvious leader for the activity emerges. Please add yourself to the list of "Contributors" if you'd like to participate in the project.

Current DP:Evangelism Projects:

• Video Messaging - Lead: Michael Pick (Japan); Contributors:
  Mission: Creating and helping others to create online video clips that spread the DP message.

• Podcast Messaging - Lead: Michael Pick (Japan); Contributors: Jacob Chapel (Washington), J. Trent Adams (Boston)
  Mission: Creating and helping others to create audio/video podcasts that spread the DP message.

• Business Model Suggestions - Lead: Devin Holloway; Contributors: Elias Bizannes (Sydney), Raj Sodhi (California), Brady Brim-DeForest (California), Jacob Chapel (Washington), Arpan Jhaveri (New York), Mike Reynolds (Orlando), Bill Nichols (Washington, DC)
  Mission: Proposing new business models that work within the DP framework, and maintaining a directory of related existing businesses and resources.

• Blogging Coordination - Lead: Elias Bizannes (Sydney); Contributors:Devin Holloway, Mary Trigiani, Jacob Chapel (Washington), Bill Nichols (Washington, DC)
  Mission: Blogging about and maintaining an active digest/distribution/feed of DP related postings. This includes maintaining the relevant aspects of the "Bloggers and Media" Action Pack.

• Event Calendar - Lead: TBD; Contributors: daniela barbosa (San Francisco)
  Mission: Maintaining a calendar of conferences, meetups, and other events related to the DP mission. Advise appropriate DPWG members regarding possible participation.

• Media Coordination - Lead: Marjolein Hoekstra(Netherlands); Contributors: Arpan Jhaveri (New York)
  Mission: Edit and review press releases, inform mainstream-media writers, and respond to press inquiries.

• FAQ and Terminology Coordination - Lead: daniela barbosa (San Francisco); Contributors: TBD
  Mission: Monitoring the DataPortability Workgroup and related initiatives for emerging threads. Maintaining (in coordination with the DP Policy Action Group) the DPWG FAQ , Reference Links,and associated general terminology page.

• Historical Timeline - Lead: Marjolein Hoekstra(Netherlands); Contributors: J. Trent Adams (Boston), Bill Nichols (Washington, DC)
  Mission: Maintaining a master list of significant milestones relating to the DP mission, specifically as it relates to the emerging story of a Data Portability Internet.

• Monthly Progress Report - Lead: Elias Bizannes (Sydney); Contributors: Brady Brim-DeForest (California)
  Mission: Author a monthly update on:
  o Progress of the group internal collaboration structures.
  o Progress on the groups projects/initiatives/deliverables.
  o Notable successes or failures of participants to help or hinder the process.
  o Progress of related projects initiatives and deliverables that we'd like to highlight.
  o Any actions we have taken to address community feedback and ideas.
  o Explain our planned goals and milestones for the coming month .
